Who we are

FreedomBanking Plus is a service of STM Corporate Group, 8000 Centre Park Drive, Suite 130, Austin, TX 78754, USA ("we", "us"). We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at hello@stmcorporate.group.

What data we collect

Data you give us. When you use our consultation or business enquiry forms, place an order, or write to us, we collect what you provide: name, email address, and the details of your situation, company or enquiry. When you engage our services, we additionally collect the documents needed to prepare your bank application, such as passport copies, proof of address and source-of-funds evidence.

Data collected automatically. Our website uses analytics tooling (including Koala) that records how visitors use the site: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser information, and, where you have identified yourself through a form, the association between your visits and your contact record. Our hosting provider (Vercel) processes technical connection data such as IP addresses in server logs.

Why we process it, and on what legal basis

We process your data to respond to enquiries and provide our services (performance of a contract, or steps prior to one); to send you relevant information where you have asked for it (consent, which you can withdraw at any time); to improve our website and understand what visitors need (legitimate interest); and to meet legal obligations that apply to us, including record-keeping and anti-money-laundering duties (legal obligation).

Who we share it with

Banks and institutions. The core of our service is introducing your application to banks. We share your application file with the institution you have chosen, and only for that purpose.

Service providers. We use processors to run our business: email and marketing (Intuit Mailchimp), website analytics (Koala), hosting (Vercel), and payment processing for orders. Each processes your data on our instructions under a data-processing agreement.

Within our group. Where your matter touches related services (for example company formation or relocation advice), we may share your details within STM Corporate Group companies, and only where relevant to your enquiry.

We do not sell personal data.

International transfers

Our services are international by nature. Your data may be transferred outside the UK and the EEA, including to the banks you select and to service providers in the United States. Where we transfer data, we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses, and in the case of a bank introduction, on the transfer being necessary for the contract you have asked us to perform.

How long we keep it

Enquiry data that does not lead to an engagement is deleted after 24 months. Client files are retained for as long as legally required, typically 5 years after the end of the engagement, to meet anti-money-laundering and tax record-keeping obligations. Analytics data is retained per the retention settings of the respective tool.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on it. To exercise any of these, write to hello@stmcorporate.group. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority; in the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies and tracking

The site uses strictly necessary cookies (session management, language preference) and the analytics tooling described above (Koala, Matomo). No consent banner is currently in place; adding a consent mechanism for the analytics layer is recommended and pending.

We update this policy when our processing changes. The date at the top of this page reflects the current version.
